Princess Pita Mediterranean Restaurant & Catering W Broadway Rd,Mesa, AZ After completing a home inspection at my new contract in Tempe, I found myself craving some delightful Mediterranean food. While I usually head to the Persian Room, which is about miles away, I decided to explore a closer option. That's when I decided on Princess Pita Mediterranean Restaurant & Catering in Mesa, AZ, just a short drive away!Location and AtmosphereLocated at W Broadway Rd, Mesa, AZ , Princess Pita offers a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly, and the service is generally attentive, contributing to a pleasant dining experience.Food Experience. Customer Service: The gentleman at the register was exceptionally friendly, making the ordering process enjoyable. While there was an older staff member who seemed a bit less cheerful, the overall service was commendable.. Salad: The salad was simple yet refreshing, bursting with flavors that complemented the meal perfectly. It was a delightful start that set the tone for the rest of the dining experience.. Hummus: The hummus was a standout dish—so delicious that I could easily have devoured another cup! Its creamy texture and rich flavor made it a perfect accompaniment to the pita.. Pita Bread: Even the pita, a seemingly simple item, was cooked to perfection. It was warm, fluffy, and had a delightful taste that enhanced the overall meal.. Steak Skewers: The steak was incredibly tender and flavorful. If I could, I would have enjoyed ten more skewers! The seasoning was spot on, making it a highlight of the meal.. Yellow Rice: The yellow rice was cooked to perfection, with a delightful flavor that paired wonderfully with the other dishes. It was a comforting addition to the meal.. Lentil Soup: Although I typically don’t enjoy lentils, I was pleasantly surprised by the lentil soup here. It was flavorful and hearty, making it a great choice for anyone looking to incorporate healthy options into their diet.ConclusionI left Princess Pita feeling satisfied and eager to return. The combination of delicious food and friendly service makes it a fantastic choice for anyone craving Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant not only offers a variety of flavorful dishes but also embodies the essence of the Mediterranean diet, which is known for its health benefits, including heart health and improved blood sugar levels. I look forward to my next visit!

I visited family in Arizona back in October and had a craving for Mediterranean food. This place was close by decided to try it. This place is part grocery store and part restaurant. We ordered the baba ghanoush appetizer along with the Fattoush salad. The baba ghanoush came with warm pita bread. The fattouch salad was good and super fresh. The baba ghanoush is nothing to brag about & will not order it again.I ordered the chicken kebab platter. We also ordered the falafel sandwich and a side of fries. The fries were standard. Pretty good, hot and crispy but you know they come from a bag, not fresh.I did not receive the chicken kebab platter instead received some cut up pieces of chicken platter. See the captioned picture. The platters come with hummus, rice and small salad, but I substituted for tabouli.I did let the person who was bringing out the food know that was not what I ordered. He didn’t do anything about it. Instead, he told me that is what I ordered and I told him no I ordered the chicken kebab. He tried to make me believe that is what I ordered. Again no apology nor did he try to make it right. Definitely not customer oriented. that chicken was not good at all. The flavor and the texture was super weird. At that point, we didn’t care to eat anything else. We never tried the falafel sandwich because we were very upset about the experience with the chicken plate. We didn’t take our food home. We left everything on the table. This place is not cheap and you would expect that they would’ve made it right or got the order right but no such luck.Definitely will not be returning and based on my experience, sadly, I do not recommend this place.

We had not had Mediterranean food in a very long time so we decided we would give princess Peter Mediterranean restaurant a try. We were happy that we did. All food served was extremely tasty. French fries were excellent. All meats were grilled to perfection and the plates were well organized. We will definitely be back and bring our friends. I highly recommend this place, by the way, when the weather gets cooler they do have outdoor dining, which is really nice and their grocery store has a great selection of Middle Eastern foods.

I want to be able to give restaurants and eateries stars every time I go out, but this is not the case. I visited Princess Pita so called Mediterranean Restaurant, but if you actually visit the Mediterranean countries, the food there is most excellent. Sadly, it has become a norm in the United States to sell poorly prepared food and go after the profits, instead of proudly offering quality food so that the customers will come back again and again. Honestly, I don't know how this place got stars. The entire place is being upside down remodeled and there is no merchandise like it used to have before. I ordered Gyro sandwich and the meat was too salty. If you want to get a high blood pressure, keep coming back. The purpose of dining out is to enjoy amazing food you can't always prepare at home. Whoever orders the meat, I'm certain there is more than one place that offers good giro meat, with less salt. Have a taste before you sell it to people. In my experience, customers would pay a little extra for good food. The waiter was kind enough to offer something else, but this is not the point. The point is to have happy customers enjoying quality food.
